JFK&M provided MEP/FP engineering design services to Memorial Sloan Cancer Center (MSKCC) in the expansion of its current clinical programs. The Diagnostic and Treatment Facility located at 16 East 60th Street includes the gut renovation of approximately 70,000 GSF to create clinics for General and Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Head and Neck, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Dermatology, Phlebotomy, and Interventional Radiology.

JFK&M provided HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Temperature Controls, Plumbing, & Fire Protection engineering design services for the project requiring a replacement of the major portions of the existing MEP systems. This includes new four chilled water Air Handling Units (AHUs) in the base building with two 25,000 CFM and two 10,000 CFM units.  The new units were required for increased capacity and proper air filtration to accommodate the various program areas on each level. Additional areas include lobbies, administrative offices, support areas, and a 100-sf pharmacy containing pharmaceutical refrigerators, a PYXIS MedStation system, storage cabinets, a sink and workstations.

The project began early in 2012 and was completed in August 2014 at a construction cost of $18.8 million.
